My Entry to this week's Global Design Project DIY folded christmas tree ornament

Had a blast making this Christmas tree for this weeks #GDP115, I do love to enter, but alas I never seem to win, I guess it's in the taking part...lol.

Any I had fun with this cute little project, made from just 5 pieces of DSP
sized at 5 x 5, 4 x 4 , 3 x 3, & 2 x 2 plus a strip of 12 x 3/4 for the star.....

You fold in half then open and turn 90o and fold in half again...
turn your paper over and fold corner to corner.
Then you line your diagonal top to bottom on your grid paper and fold up the middle score to line on the right up with the diagonal score line but making sure you stop when you get the centre of the paper, then do the same with the left, a bit tricky to explain in a text, but your paper will end up looking like the picture below, now repeat on all the other 3 squares.

My entry to this week's #GDP114 using "Bubble over" by stampin up

So as you all know I love entering the Global design challenge most weeks and when I saw this weeks theme I was over the moon...I knew at 1st glance which stamp set I was going to use and how I wanted my card to look.... hope you like as much as I do x x

I used the bubble and fizz DSP and following the color scheme with the paper I used Bermuda bay card stock and I used the bottles in the lemon lime twist....Works so well together.
After I attached everything I finished off with the new adhesive backed sequins and the look was finished

Bermuda bay card is 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 scored at 4 1/8
6 at 1 1/4 x 1 1/4
bubble and fizz DSP is 3 7/8 x 5 5/8
whisper white card is 6 at 1 1/8 x 1 1/8
and for the sentiment it is 1" x 3 3/4

Supplies are listed below, but only items  you can purchase up to now.....
