My entry for this weeks #GDP113 using smitten mittens stampin up

This my entry for this weeks global design challenge #GDP113, as this week is a color week. The colors are cherry cobbler, pool party and pear pizzazz, I had this set a few weeks ago and only know am I getting to play with it. With the color scheme as it is, I thought straight away of this set....

I used cherry cobbler card for the base which is 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 folded in half
whisper white card for the inside is 3 7/8 x 5 5/8 and is the same size in pool party for the front.
you will need another piece of whisper white big enough to die cut out 2 of the mittens.

As we were kids growing up our mum always tied our mitten on to long pieces of wool, she would have us standing there with both arms stretched right out so she could measure enough of the wool so we could still get our coats on and off, without loosing the mittens....So funny, but very practical....
So I decided to use our double stitched ribbon in cherry cobbler also to represent the wool.

Added a few rhinestones to the back of the gloves and to the snowflakes that have been stamped tone on tone for greater impact.

Well I hope you like the card and I hope the design team do too....Thanks for popping by....bye x x

  4. Nowadays, kids love to play games indoors. The parents are worried about how they can provide opportunities to their kids to play indoor games. The building blocks game has revolutionized this concept. With building blocks, children enhance their puzzle solving abilities and problem-solving skills. It is good for kids.
