Cancer research 5 card challenge

Cancer research 5 card Challenge
Is a very important cause, that as crafter can achieve so easily...with love, care and inspiration from others.

Time for a new challenge.
there will be 3 prizes if I can stretch to more then I will.

Rules are as follows:
You make 5 hand made cards using Stampin up products or non stampin up products, up to you, with envelopes and cello bags for each card.

Pop them in the post to myself at: 35 Heol Dynys, Ravenhill, Swansea, West Glamorgan, SA5 5JB, UK  by the 28th June 2018.

The draw for the winners will be on the 30th June 2018.

Thank you cards, get well soon, thinking of you, for you, just because I care, bible quotes, anything except sympathy cards.

For every 5 cards, you will be entered into a draw, for a prize pool, containing.

A Jewellery Pack ( bracelet and matching necklace), 5 handmade cards by me (full size), 1/2 a packet of DSP of your choice, Handmade ribbon on the go box +ribbon,   the "Lot's of love" gift box with the 5 narrow thank you cards & envelopes, Bakers twine, Rhinestones and Tombow glue, A stamp set and an ink pad. My choosing. 10 prizes and maybe more to be added.

All the cards will be donated, to 3 cancer charities, to Lorraine Turners hospital choices, Lorraine is a dear friend of mine and has been for a while now, through my channel on youtube and my group on facebook...

Lorraine has terminal bone cancer, and was only given a few weeks to live about 3 years ago now....Wow is all I can say, this lady has gone through so much and has lost so many friends from this cruel disease, that she has met along the way on her journey....Bless her, her last lot of treatment didn't work, and now she has started another cause of treatment which is on a weekly basis....

Her son is getting married soon and it is her dream to be there, Lorraine also has a book that people wrote in for her to do...Bit like a bucket list, and it is her dream to for fill all of them.....

Lorraine's 3 charities are Rosewood Hospice, The Haven and Pontefract Breast Cancer Group, these can all be looked up on google.

I now have the address for those who want to join but can't afford the postage to the UK, it is Care off Karla Bostic 2681 Freeman's Walk path, Dacula, GA 30019, USA.  Many thanks to everyone that takes part, this is a really worthy cause and can help so many people x x

So if I need to add more I will, happy crafting and lets do these charities proud and donate as many cards as possible to this wonderful 5 card challenge for Cancer research ...Mwaahhh I love you all x x

  1. Hi Gaynor, I would love to take part in this - What a gorgeous idea! I will either post them over (I'm in Australia) or bring them over and post locally when I am visiting the UK in May. Thank you for giving us a means to help out x

  2. Hi Gaynor, my crafty pen pal thank you firstly and most importantly just for being there for me. I can't believe actually how quick this year has gone since my 50th birthday when family and friends gave me suggestions to do to keep me going. I have completed quite a lot of these and other things which were not on the list too. I have just read your blog post and I thank you for being so thoughtful and kind in how you told the story of my illness. I do also want to congratulate you on the changes to your Blog post - they are great, I am a little green with envy that it looks so good. I will need to work on mine more. Loved the card using the Waterfront Stamp set. Thank you to everyone who is going to join in with Gaynor's Card Challenge, Gaynor is so generous and this is not a easy thing she is taking on, you remember how many cards were sent at Christmas. Gaynor is giving up her time to co-ordinate this Card Challenge so I would like to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so, so much. :o)

  4. Hi Gaynor and Lorraine! I'm in! My Mum lost her Dad to bone cancer when she was just 11 years old and his son, my Uncle, died from throat cancer 10 years ago! It's horrible thing to cope with at any age, but it's really cruel when it's a child or a teenager! Gaynor, this is such a lovely thing to do as part of your Stampin'Up! demo-ship for someone who means so much to you! Lorraine - I am so sorry for everything you are going through, but you are fighting it so well, according to the regular updates we get from Gaynor, just like my son fought his illness. Well, I'm here to help you fulfill just one of your bucket list requirements! Praying for you - love & light - and lots of love 'n' hugs too, C xOx

  6. I have come to know that if my attention is placed on the illusion of our world it can become too heavy a burden to carry. When I can only see, perceive or experience fear, hate, disillusionment it is very hard to find joy.koktale
