White wash technique thank you card using stampin up rose wonder

I have been waiting a while to show this technique, I think it is a beautiful way to present a gorgeous card to a loved one.

I heat embossed with white embossing powder, then with the craft white ink, added a small amount to the lid, using my aqua painter added a few drops of water at a time to get the right consistency, then began to brush inside the image lines, if I needed more water i simply added more, and reapplied. Once I had the wash just right, I decided on what colours I wanted for the flower & leaves and doing the same added a few drops of water to get the right amount to apply to the flower....With fabulous results.

Craft card 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 & 1 @ 3 5/8 x 5 3/8
basic black card 2 @ 3 7/8 x 5 5/8
whisper white card 1 @ 5 3/8 x 3 5/8.

Stampin up no longer sell the craft card, but crumb cake would do just fine.
